B-well Around the Pot | 2026 | Presented by SEESA

The 2026 Around the Pot takes place on Saturday, 1 August 2026, starting and finishing at the Swellendam Showgrounds in Swellendam, Western Cape. 🚴‍♂️🌾

Hosted by Petrichor Events, this Cycling South Africa sanctioned MTB and gravel-road event offers two solo race distances: the 100 Miler / 155km and the 60 Miler / 102km. Both routes are designed for endurance riders looking for a fast, flowing gravel challenge through the rolling foothills of the Overberg. 🌄

The 100 Miler starts at 07h30 and features six water points, a 30-minute neutral zone with lunch at Ouplaas, support box access, and a finish line cut-off at 18h00. The 60 Miler starts at 08h00, includes three well-stocked water points, a neutral lunch zone at Ouplaas, and a finish line cut-off at 16h00. 🥤🍔

All finishers will receive a race medal and a finish line hamburger when handing in their race number. Riders will also receive a goodie bag at registration, and routes will be available for download in GPX format from the event website. 🎖️

E-bikes are permitted on all distances, but there is no separate E-bike category and E-bike riders will not be eligible for podium prizes. Riders without a CSA annual licence will need to purchase a R50 day licence.

Online entries close at midnight on Tuesday, 28 July 2026, or once the event limit of 500 riders has been reached. Late entries will be available at registration.

• 75% refund for cancellations done in May
