WW X Tri | Karkloof | 2026

WW X Tri | Karkloof is an endurance sports event that takes place in the Karkloof region of South Africa. The event consists of three disciplines: mountain biking, trail running, and paddling. Participants can choose to compete as individuals or in teams of two or three. The race starts with a 60-kilometer mountain bike ride through the scenic Karkloof mountains. Riders will navigate through rocky terrain, steep climbs, and fast descents. The bike leg takes participants through beautiful forested areas and across streams and rivers. Next up is a 20-kilometer trail run that takes participants through the Karkloof valley. The trail run includes some challenging climbs and technical sections, as well as breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. The run leg is followed by a 12-kilometer paddle on the Karkloof River. Participants will navigate rapids and calm sections of the river, with plenty of opportunities to take in the stunning scenery along the way.
