About Thembisa Mile | 2026
The Thembisa Mile 2026 takes place on Sunday, 25 October 2026, at Olifantsfontein Sports Ground in Midrand, Gauteng. Organised by Thembisa Athletic Club, this exciting road running event combines a 10km race with a series of fast-paced 1 Mile events for runners of different ages and abilities.
⚡ Participants can choose between the 10km Run/Walk and the classic 1 Mile Road Race. The mile programme features different age and category races throughout the morning, creating an energetic atmosphere for junior athletes, competitive runners and recreational participants.

Different 1 Mile category races will take place between 09:00 and 11:45. Mile participants must be able to complete their event within 15 minutes.
