Savages Challenge 2026
Take on the Savages Challenge 2026 on Sunday, 16 August 2026, starting at 06:30 in Durban. Hosted by Savages, this exciting road running event offers runners a choice of 21.1km, 10km, and 5km distances, making it ideal for competitive athletes, club runners, and social participants.
With R40,000 total prize money, equal prize money for women and men, and medals awarded to all finishers, the Savages Challenge promises a strong race-day atmosphere and a rewarding running experience.

Important Race Information
The event will be held in accordance with WA, ASA and KZNA rules. Licensed athletes must wear their provincial licence numbers correctly, and temporary licences are required for non-ASA affiliated runners participating in the applicable distances.
The minimum age requirement is 16 years for the 10km and 14 years for the 21.1km. The cut-off time for both the 10km and 21.1km is 3 hours.
