The False Bay Express 6km Swim | 2026

Experience the ultimate swim challenge and adventure with the False Bay Express Swim, a one-of-a-kind event in Cape Town. Taking place on World Ocean's Saturday, 7 June 2025, this 6km swim offers an 'Express' experience of the False Bay Coastline, teeming with wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Each kilometer of the swim is dedicated to one of the marine animals found in False Bay, including Whales, Dolphins, Seals, Sharks, Penguins, and Stingrays. Depending on the time of year, you might encounter these magnificent creatures during your swim adventure. Starting from Simon's Town and finishing at Fish Hoek Surf Lifesaving Club, the swim route follows the coastal walkway, allowing spectators to closely follow their swimmers from start to finish. Swimmers will need endurance, navigation skills, fortitude, and speed to complete the challenging route, which offers stunning views of the South African coastline.
