The Cederberg Stage Run | 2026

The 2026 Cederberg Stage Run is a 3-day trail running adventure hosted from Kromrivier Cederberg Park, taking runners through the majestic Cederberg over three days of mountain trails, elevation, endurance, and race-village atmosphere.

The event offers both solo and team entry options, with participants taking on a staged trail running journey across three race days. Runners can expect a fully supported experience including meals, aid stations, race apparel, conservation fees, goody bags, category prizes, and drinks at registration and the finish line.

Across the weekend, participants will cover three varied trail stages: a long and steady opening day, an elevation-focused second stage, and a fast final day to close off the adventure. The event is designed for trail runners looking for a premium multi-day race experience in one of South Africa’s most iconic mountain destinations.

Accommodation is not included in the race entry fee and must be requested separately by emailing info@fortheloveofadventure.org. Options at Kromrivier Cederberg Park include luxury chalets, luxury tents, and camping tents, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

• Day 2: 24km / D+1040m – Chasing Elevation
• Day 3: 9km / D+140m – Fast & Furious

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the race entry fee and must be booked separately via info@fortheloveofadventure.org.

• Luxury Chalets: R3,500 per night, based on 4 people
• Luxury Tents: R2,600 per night, based on 4 people
• Camping Tents: 3m x 3m tents with 2 mattresses and fitted sheets

Camping tent pricing:

• 1 person: R1,440 for 3 nights
• 2 people sharing: R2,880 for 3 nights

On-Site Recovery

Elite Performance Factory will be on-site during race weekend offering expert sports massages and a self-service recovery station. Pre-booking is recommended, with walk-ins available subject to availability.
