The Table Mountain Challenge is a demanding and exhilarating trail running event that takes place in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa. The race is named after the iconic Table Mountain, which dominates the city's skyline and provides a stunning backdrop for the event. The route takes runners up and over Table Mountain, which is famous for its steep and rocky terrain, and challenging climbs. Runners are rewarded with breathtaking views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean, as they make their way along the course. The Table Mountain Challenge is not only a physical test but also a mental one, as runners must navigate through varied terrain, including rocky paths, steep climbs, and technical descents. The event attracts a mix of elite runners and trail running enthusiasts, all seeking to push themselves to their limits and experience the unique challenge of running on Table Mountain. 40km – all the way around Table Mountain, all the views, a trail running feast! For trail runners who know what they’re doing. Elevation Gain - 1900m 27km - half of Table Mountain, the iconic table top views!
