Strandloper Trail Run | 2025

The 2026 Strandloper Trail Run takes place on Saturday, 8 August 2026, starting from De Hoek, Noordhoek Beach in Cape Town, Western Cape. 🏃‍♂️🌊

Hosted by Quantum Adventures, this classic coastal adventure run offers a 16km linear trail route from Noordhoek Beach to Camel Rock Restaurant in Scarborough. The event is limited to 200 pre-entries, giving it a relaxed, small-field feel. 👟

The route follows a scenic coastal line past the Kakapo Wreck, Kommetjie Beach, the lighthouse area, Soetwater, Witsand Beach, Misty Cliffs, and on towards Scarborough. Runners should expect beach sections, grassy and rocky trail, coastal paths, and weather-dependent conditions along the way. 🌿

There are no water tables, so runners must be self-sufficient and carry the required compulsory kit. The finish at Camel Rock Restaurant includes a branded run cap or peak/visor, filter coffee, a breakfast roll, and a chilled coastal trail-running atmosphere. 🎖️
