Celebrate two incredible years in Somerset West with the Somerset West 2-Year Anniversary Marathon Relay & Fun Run, an exciting community running event packed with teamwork, energy, and festive atmosphere.
Taking place in Somerset West, this unique event features a Marathon Relay Challenge where teams of three runners complete repeated 5km loops until the full 42.2km marathon distance is reached. The relay starts at 4:00 PM, with a 4 hour 30 minute cut-off time, creating a thrilling late-afternoon race atmosphere.
Only 20 relay teams will be accepted:
- 5 Competitive Male Teams
- 5 Competitive Female Teams
- 10 Social / Fun Teams
Cash prizes will be awarded to the winning male and female teams, along with additional surprise prizes throughout the event.
Competitive Relay: R280 entry fee. Cash prize awarded to the winning male and female teams.
Fun Relay: R250 entry fee. Includes a burger (beef or chicken), route support, and hydration.
Standard Event Entry: R150 entry fee. Includes a burger (choice of beef or chicken).
