Join us on Saturday, 31st May 2025, for the 5th event of the Run The Vines 2025 Series, hosted at the stunning Vrede en Lust Wine Estate, nestled at the foothills of the Simonsberg Mountains in South Africa’s renowned Franschhoek wine valley. Rich in history dating back to 1688, this iconic farm offers the perfect blend of scenic beauty, heritage, and vibrant vineyard landscapes—an ideal setting for a trail running adventure for all ages. Trail Running Distances & Start Times 17km Run The Vines – R220 – Start: 7:15 AM 10km Run The Vines – R190 – Start: 7:45 AM 5km Run The Vines – R150 – Start: 8:00 AM 3km Manzi Water Paarl Junior Challenge (for kids under 8) – FREE – Start: 8:50 AM Accompanying Adult on 3km – R120 Please Note: Distances may vary slightly due to farm layouts. Family-Friendly Trail Running Event The 3km Junior Challenge is designed to introduce kids to the joys of trail running and healthy living, while creating lasting memories with family and friends. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Timing, Medals & Water Points Professional timing by BoutTime (collect your timing tag at registration). Buy a permanent tag for R100 usable at all BoutTime events. Medals for all finishers. Water points provided—runners are encouraged to be self-sufficient with hydration. Please support the farm and local vendors for post-run refreshments. Important Notes: R50 late entry fee applies to entries on the day. All unpaid entries will be removed after 3 days. Registration opens 1 hour before the 17km start time.
