The 2026 Ride McGregor takes place from Saturday, 29 August to Sunday, 30 August 2026 in McGregor, Western Cape. 🚵‍♂️🌿

Organised by Dirty South Events, this two-day gravel riding and trail running weekend brings participants to one of the Western Cape’s most loved small-town adventure destinations. The event is listed as a CSA sanctioned event and offers scenic riding, country hospitality and race village energy at Jimmy’s Pub. 👟

The event includes Ride Long Route, Ride Short Route, Run Long Route, and Run Short Route options, giving both cyclists and runners a chance to enjoy a full weekend of outdoor adventure. The ride routes include a longer two-day option of approximately 140km and a shorter two-day option of approximately 100km, while the run options cover 40km and 20km over two days. 🎖️

With coffee and rusks at the start of each day, stocked waterpoints, trail and nature reserve permits, medical support, finisher medals and a lively McGregor race village atmosphere, Ride McGregor offers a proper weekend of gravel, trails and small-town adventure. 🔥

• Long Route: 80.3km with 1,013m elevation
• Short Route: 59.9km with 724m elevation

Ride Day 2 — Anti-clockwise

• Long Route: 60.4km with 768m elevation
• Short Route: 42.6km with 466m elevation
