May Day Dash - For Dogs | HOPS Ballito

Join us as we celebrate hard work, health and community with a fun 4km, 5.6km or 8km run/walk in the neighbourhood in support of The SA Guide Dogs Association starting and ending at Hops Ballito.

All participants over the age of 18 will receive a commemorative running shirt, and you'll have the choice of enjoying a complimentary beer or a glass of wine after the run.

Hope to see you all there as we give back to this worthy cause.

TIME: 7am

COST: R190 including race shirt and free beer or glass of wine. *Race shirts are limited to the first 230 entries*

LATE ENTRIES ALLOWED ON THE DAY BUT WILL EXCL RACE SHIRT IF OUT OF STOCK.

REGISTRATION: Hops Ballito on 30 April 2026 – Receive a FREE Castle Tank beer or glass of wine on registration.

REGISTRATION TIME: 3-6pm

ROUTE: From Hops, right into Compensation Beach Road Left into Jack Powell, past the running club Left into Hillary Drive Continue up and left into Jacqueline Drive Continue up and then left into Zen Drive Zen becomes Marion and follow until the Ballito Drive Intersection Left into Ballito Drive Right at the first intersection and straight down Hawkins to Hops.

7km - Do the 5.6km route and turn right into Minerva at the top of Hawkins Drive. Keep going straight until you meet up with compensation Beach Road. Turn right to the Zimbali gate then back to Hops down Compensation Beach Road and Edward Place.

4km walk markers off the 5.6km route.
