The Parys Crater Street Mile 2026 takes place on Saturday, 10 October 2026, at the Parys Info Office in Parys, Free State. Organised by the Parys Rotary Club, this exciting road running event brings together competitive athletes, young runners, families and local businesses for a morning of speed, fitness and community spirit.
🔥 Covering the classic 1 Mile (1.6km) distance, the Parys Crater Street Mile offers a unique racing experience through the heart of Parys. With categories ranging from fun runs and junior races to Masters, Seniors and invited Elite athletes, there's an opportunity for runners of different ages and abilities to take part.
The event is also a World Athletics Certified Race, ASA Free State Qualifier and Talent Identification Event, giving competitive runners an opportunity to showcase their speed and potential over the mile distance.

Athletes competing in competitive or age-category races must have a valid ASA licence.
No ASA licence is required for the Fun Run / Walk categories.
Temporary licences will not be sold on race day.
