Midvaal Mile | 2026

Join us on 1 November 2026 for the 2nd Installment of the Midvaal Mile – a 1-mile and 600m open water swim at the stunning Basslake in Henley on Klip, Gauteng. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just looking for a new challenge, this event offers a fun, timed swim in one of the most beautiful freshwater spots in the region. Best of all, we are now a registered seeding event for Midmar Mile!!

The race kicks off at 8AM for the 1st batch of 200 swimmers and the 2nd batch at 09H15. The 600m Swim will start at 10H30. This event will be timed by SS Timing. Entries are just R330 for the 1mile and R230 for the 600m per person. Hosted by SwimSmart Aquatics, this event is perfect for competitive swimmers, triathletes, and open water enthusiasts alike.
