Miami Magoebaskloof MTB Challenge | 2027

The Miami Magoebaskloof MTB Challenge 2026 is a challenging yet rewarding mountain bike event set in the scenic Magoebaskloof region of Limpopo. Starting from the Faerie Glen Picnic Site at Westfalia, the route takes riders into beautiful plantation terrain with a mix of jeep track, singletrack, climbs, and flowing mountain bike trails.

Known for its breathtaking MTB routes and strong rider turnout, this event has been a Limpopo qualifier for approximately 10 years and remains a standout fixture on the regional mountain biking calendar. The race caters for a wide range of riders, from beginners looking to gain experience to competitive cyclists chasing a strong performance.

Entries after 31 May 2026:

• 70km MTB / E-bike – R300
• 50km MTB / E-bike – R280
• 35km MTB / E-bike – R250
• 15km MTB – R130
• 5km Fun Trail Run – R100

A CSA day licence of R70 is required for the 70km, 50km, 35km, and 15km MTB races for riders without a valid CSA licence. Please note that riders using day licences will not earn points towards the series.

Gravel bikes are not permitted, and riders must select a distance that matches CSA age and category rules.
