KZN Schools Cycling MTB Lap Racing Series 2025 | Fun, Fast & Youth-Focused MTB Racing Across KZN The KZN Schools Cycling MTB Lap Racing Series 2025 brings exciting, school-based mountain biking events to KwaZulu-Natal! This fun-focused lap racing series challenges young riders to complete as many laps as possible within set time frames or up to a maximum number of laps, depending on their age category. Lap distances range from 2km to 4km and vary by venue. 🗓️ 2025 Race Dates & Venues: 27 July – Race #1 at Waterfall Schools 10 August – Race #2 at Maritzburg College 24 August – Race #3 at Umhlali Prep 7 September – Race #4 at Howick High 🚴 Age Categories: Sub Nippers: Born 2019–2017 Nippers: Born 2016–2015 Sprogs: Born 2014–2013 Sub Juniors: Born 2012–2011 Youth: Born 2010–2009 Juniors: Born 2008–2006 Riders must participate in their school grouping (Primary or High School) and wear their school cycling or PE shirts. 🔒 NO HELMET, NO RIDE – This rule will be strictly enforced.
