Karoo Poison | 2026

The 2026 Karoo Poison takes place on Saturday, 5 September 2026 at Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm in the Nougaspoort area above the Koo Valley, Western Cape. 🚵‍♂️🏃‍♂️

Hosted by Koo Primary School, this family-friendly gravel cycling and trail running event returns for its 6th running, offering a full day of outdoor racing, food stalls, entertainment and farm-style race-day atmosphere. 🌿

The event includes 125km, 99km, 52km, and 28km Gravel Bike routes, making it suitable for experienced gravel riders, mountain bikers, endurance cyclists and social riders. Trail runners can choose between the 12km Trail Run and 5km Fun Run, while a 2km toddler run / bike / pram option is available on the day. 👟

With gravel riding, trail running, family activities, goodie bags for the first 200 entries, late entries on race day, and the option to stay over at Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm, Karoo Poison offers a proper Klein Karoo adventure weekend. 🎖️
