The KAP sani2c 2026 is one of South Africa’s most iconic multi-day mountain bike stage races, covering 265km of world-class trails from Glencairn Farm near Underberg to Scottburgh on the KwaZulu-Natal coast. With a high percentage of flowing singletrack, challenging climbs, and unforgettable descents, sani2c delivers an unmatched riding experience.
To accommodate demand, the event is split into two editions — OG (Race) and Adventure — each offering the same route but a different experience.
🚴 sani2c OG (Race) – Competitive & Pro-Level Atmosphere
- Dates: Thursday to Saturday
- UCI sanctioned event with Prologue
- Home to elite riders and pro teams
- Faster pace, more competitive field
- E-bikes allowed only in this event
Best for: Riders chasing performance, racing experience, or wanting to be part of the original sani2c tradition.
🚴 sani2c Adventure – Social, Fun & High Energy
- Dates: Wednesday to Friday
- Relaxed but still challenging riding
- Strong social vibe with post-stage festivities
- Sells out quickly every year
- No e-bikes allowed
