The Irene Country Club Night Run 2026 takes place at Irene Country Club on Main Road in Irene, Centurion, Gauteng, offering runners and walkers a unique midweek evening run through a secure golf course venue.
Hosted by Revolution Trails, this night run is ideal for participants looking for a relaxed, social, and accessible after-work running experience. The route stays entirely within the venue, using mostly golf cart paths with some short grass sections, making it suitable for runners and walkers of various fitness levels.
Participants can choose between 2km, 5km, and 10km distances. The 10km route is completed as a loop of the 5km route, while the shorter options are perfect for beginners, families, walkers, and social runners.
Registration opens at 17h00, with a strict race start at 18h00. No early or late starts will be allowed, as the route runs along the golf course and can only begin once golfers are off the course. The cut-off time is 20h00, and walkers are welcome as long as they finish before cut-off.
All participants receive access to a marked route, water tables, finisher medal, venue entry, parking, and Vitality points. The venue restaurant will also be open before and after the race, offering food and drinks for a relaxed post-run experience.
This event is pet-friendly, but dogs must remain on a leash at all times. A headlamp or torch is compulsory for all distances, and participants must bring a driver’s licence to access the venue.
