#IAmAble Fun Run | 2026

The 2026 #IAMABLE Fun Run takes place on Saturday, 19 September 2026 at Alta du Toit School in Kuils River, Cape Town, Western Cape. 💙🏃‍♂️

This meaningful community fun run is all about creating awareness for people with disabilities and supporting practical access initiatives. With the theme “Blue is Cool”, participants are encouraged to show up in blue and be part of a welcoming, inclusive, and purpose-driven event. 🌍✨

Participants can choose between 5km and 2.5km distances, with a virtual option also available for supporters who cannot attend in person. Virtual participants can purchase a ticket, take part from wherever they are, and send in a photo on the day to be shared across the event platforms. Inclusion has no distance. 💙

This is a fun run with no official timing, keeping the focus on inclusion, awareness, community, and impact. The event is open to all ages, and pets are welcome on a leash. 🐕👟

Funds raised will go toward improving access to education for learners at Alta du Toit School, including learner transport, as well as supporting candidates with disabilities placed through JOB-ABLED, especially with transport costs during their first month of work. 🚌

On the day, participants can also enjoy amazing prizes, food stalls, craft stalls, entertainment, and activities for kids. 🎁🍔🎨
