Hazeldean Mountain Bike Race | 2025

The 2026 Hazeldean Mountain Bike Race takes place on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at Hazeldean Valley Trails in Pretoria, Gauteng. 🚴‍♂️🌿

Hosted by Hazeldean Valley Trails, this family-friendly MTB event offers riders the chance to experience the trails with a fresh twist. Routes include a well-designed mix of scenic single track, open jeep track, bushveld sections, and riding along the banks of the Pienaars River. 🌄

Participants can choose from 55km, 40km, 25km, and 10km race options, making the event suitable for experienced MTB riders, E-bike participants, social cyclists, families, and younger riders. The routes will include sections of Hazeldean Valley not normally open to the public, as well as sections ridden in the opposite direction to the usual trail flow. 🔥

Riders can look forward to marked routes, extra security on the day, well-stocked water points, finisher medals, finish-line hydration, instant results from BoutTime, medics on standby, live music, exhibitors, and lucky draw entry. 🎖️🎶

The venue also offers parking, ablutions, food, coffee, craft beer, restaurants, and a kids’ play area, making it a great day out for riders and supporters alike. 🍔☕
