OUTsurance Gun Run | 2026

The 2026 OUTsurance Gun Run takes place from Saturday, 12 September to Sunday, 13 September 2026, starting and finishing at Fritz Sonnenberg Road in Green Point, Cape Town, Western Cape. 🏃‍♂️🌊

Organised by Atlantic Athletic Club, this verified Cape Town running weekend offers a mix of road, trail, fun run and walking events, making it suitable for half marathon runners, trail runners, club athletes, licensed runners, social runners, walkers, families, pet walkers and local supporters. 👟

Saturday’s programme includes the 17.8km Trail Run at 06h30, the 10km Race at 07h00, the 5km Fun Run at 08h00, and the 5km Pet Walk at 08h30. The 21km Half-Marathon takes place on Sunday, starting at 06h30. 🎖️

With medals to athletes who finish within the cut-off time, route maps for all distances, medical support, water points approximately every 3km, tog bag drop-off, refreshments at the finish and a popular Green Point race-day setting, the OUTsurance Gun Run remains one of Cape Town’s standout running events. 🌄
