The 2026 GrapeRun Gravel Run takes place on Sunday, 15 November 2026, starting from The Constantia Village Shopping Centre in Constantia, Cape Town, Western Cape. 🏃‍♂️🍇

Hosted by Totalsports VOB Running Club, this scenic gravel running event offers 21.1km and 14km race options through the historic Constantia Valley wine farm landscape. The 14km route visits the edges of Groot Constantia, while the 21.1km route crosses four historic Constantia Valley wine farms. 🌿

The 21.1km Gravel Run starts at 05h45, giving runners the longer and more elevated route of the morning, with approximately 450m elevation gain. The 14km Gravel Run starts at 06h00, with approximately 294m elevation gain, offering a shorter but still rewarding gravel running experience. 🎖️

With incredible views across the Constantia Valley wine farms, prize money, spot prizes, a plastic-free event approach, race-day registration, and a maximum field of 2,000 participants, GrapeRun 2026 offers a standout Cape Town gravel running experience. 🌄

Water & Sustainability

• This is a plastic-free event 🌿
• Limited water points will be available
• Cups will be provided at limited water points
• No sachets will be provided
• Runners are advised to carry their own hydration packs or bottles
• Discarding cups or litter in the vineyards will result in disqualification

Prize Money & Awards

• Prize giving will be held at 09h00
• No prizes will be paid in cash on the day
• Prize money applies to male and female categories
• Spot prizes will be available from event sponsors

Important Notes

• The race is run according to ASA and WPA rules
• Minimum age: 14km – 14 years
• Minimum age: 21.1km – 16 years
• Cut-off time is 09h15 for both races
• Race numbers must be worn as required
• Temporary licensed runners must wear the race number on the front and temporary licence on the back
• Club colours must be worn by registered athletes
• Age category tags must be worn front and back to qualify for age category prizes
• No personal seconding permitted
• Music players and headphones are not allowed
• The races are not suitable for wheelchair athletes
• Tog bag area available at own risk
