The 2026 Sapphire Coast Marathon takes place on Sunday, 25 October 2026, starting and finishing at Amanzimtoti Athletic Club on Riverside Road, behind Lords & Legends in Amanzimtoti, KwaZulu-Natal. 🏃‍♂️🌊

Hosted by Amanzimtoti Athletic Club, this road running event offers 42.2km, 21.1km, and 10km race options, making it suitable for marathon runners, half marathon runners, club athletes, licensed runners, social runners, and athletes preparing for major endurance events. 👟

The 42.2km Marathon and 21.1km Half-Marathon both start at 05h30, giving runners the main endurance challenges of the day. The 10km Road Race starts at 06h00, offering a solid shorter-distance road race option. 🎖️

With a new route, medals to all finishers, free T-shirts for the first 1,000 online entries, and official Comrades and Two Oceans qualifier status, the Sapphire Coast Marathon offers a strong coastal KwaZulu-Natal race-day experience. 🌄

• Temporary licensed athletes must wear the temporary licence as required
• No personal seconding
• No pacing permitted
• Litter zones will be enforced at all water tables

• Cut-off times: 10km – 2.5 hours; 21.1km – 3.5 hours; 42.2km – 6 hours
