Fairview Goat Run 2025 | Trail Running for a Cause – 11 October at Fairview Wine Estate, Paarl
Get ready for an unforgettable day of trail running, wine, and giving back at the Fairview Goat Run 2025, taking place on Saturday, 11 October 2025, at the scenic Fairview Wine Estate in Paarl, Western Cape. This much-loved annual event blends fun, fitness, and charity, offering a variety of trail runs and activities for all ages and fitness levels.

5km Run – R250 | 08h30
5km Fun Walk – R200 | 08h45 (Kids under 8 walk for free – no goodie bag)
Daniel & Friends – Push Forward 5km – R150 | 08h45
(Includes a goodie bag & T-shirt for the disabled participant. The person pushing the wheelchair enters for free.)
Whether you’re a seasoned trail runner aiming to summit the iconic Paarl Rock, or simply looking for a relaxed 5km walk through vineyards and fynbos, there’s something for everyone.
🌿 Stunning Routes:
The Goat Run’s trails traverse the beautiful slopes of Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve, combining vineyard paths, rugged climbs, and fynbos-covered ridgelines. The 15km and 28km routes offer a more technical challenge for adventurous runners, including the famous Paarl Rock summit.
The 5km Daniel & Friends - Push Forward category is a wheelchair-friendly, inclusive route designed for disabled children and adults to participate with support.

Thursday, 9 October – Canal Walk (Cape Union Mart Adventure Centre): 13h00–19h00
Friday, 10 October – Fairview Wine & Cheese, Paarl: 16h00–18h00
Saturday, 11 October – On-site from 06h00 until race start
🎁 What You Get:
All paid participants will receive a legendary goodie bag, and many will walk away with spot prizes at the post-race prize giving. The festive atmosphere includes live music, adorable goat kids, and a selection of local food and drink options—plus access to Fairview’s farm offerings and the Spice Route Destination next door, with everything from wine and beer to biltong, chocolate, cheese, and pastries.
