About GateRite Challenge | 2025
The GateRite Challenge 2026 takes place on Sunday, 4 October 2026, at Kingspark Athletics Stadium in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. Organised by Verulam Falcons AC, this major road running event brings together marathoners, competitive athletes and recreational runners for an exciting morning of racing in Durban.
🌅 Participants can choose between a 42.2km Marathon, 21.1km Half Marathon and 10km Run/Walk. The marathon is a qualifier for both the Comrades Marathon and Two Oceans Marathon, making it a valuable race for endurance athletes working towards South Africa’s biggest ultra-marathons.
