The 2026 Eco Adventure Trail Series – Cradle Moon Rhino Run takes place on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at Cradle Moon Lakeside Game Lodge in the Cradle of Humankind, Gauteng. 🏃‍♂️🦏

Set in one of Gauteng’s most popular outdoor venues, this trail running and hiking event offers varied routes through scenic game lodge terrain. Participants can enjoy runnable trails, technical sections, lakeside views, and the chance to spot wildlife such as giraffe, zebra, buck, rhino and hippo along the way. 🌿

The event welcomes all ability levels, from experienced trail runners to casual runners, hikers, walkers, families, children and nature lovers. With distances ranging from the 23–26km Challenge Adventure to the 3km Nature Walk / Run, there is an option for almost every fitness level. 👟

Eco Adventure Trail Series events are approved for Discovery Vitality members to earn points, and entries include marked trails, timing, results, medals or event memorabilia, medical support, water tables, free photos, prizes, free parking and a fun finish-line atmosphere. 🎖️
