Cape Town Festival of Running | 2026

The 2026 Cape Town Festival of Running takes place from Saturday, 18 July to Sunday, 19 July 2026, starting at 07h00 from the Sea Point Promenade, opposite the SABC in Cape Town, Western Cape.

This popular running festival brings athletes, club runners, social participants, walkers, and families together for a full weekend of road running along one of Cape Town’s most iconic coastal routes. With the Atlantic Ocean on one side and the energy of the city on the other, the Sea Point Promenade provides a scenic and vibrant race setting.

Participants can choose between the 50km ultra marathon, 21.1km half marathon, and 5km fun run, making the event suitable for endurance athletes chasing a major distance goal as well as runners looking for a shorter, more relaxed experience.
