The Beach to Touws Hike & Row Adventure offers a refreshing outdoor experience in the heart of Wilderness, combining a scenic guided hike with a relaxing canoe paddle on the Touw River.

Starting from Fairy Knowe Hotel at 07h00, the adventure begins with a 12km circular hike featuring approximately 267m elevation gain. The route takes around 3 to 4 hours to complete and follows a beautiful, well-maintained trail through lush forest, riverside scenery, and coastal surroundings.

Along the way, participants will pass Wilderness Beach, a special section of the route that may offer opportunities for dolphin and whale sightings. After the hike, the pace slows down with a peaceful canoe experience on the Touw River from 11h00 to 12h00, exploring the calm waterways toward the river mouth.

Canoes include large splash-proof buckets, making it easy to keep valuables, cameras, snacks, and daypacks safe during the paddle. The morning ends with a relaxed lunch at Fairy Knowe Hotel, giving participants time to refuel and connect after the adventure.
