About The Kerry Way Ultra
Experience the breathtaking beauty of Ireland's Kerry Way like never before at The Kerry Way Ultra, taking place on September 6-7, 2024. This extraordinary trail running event covers a challenging 120-mile (200km) loop course from Killarney to Killarney, offering participants stunning views of mountain ranges, coastal vistas, lakes, and moorlands.
The Kerry Way Ultra is a self-sufficient race, meaning participants must carry their own supplies. Emergency water will be available only at Support Crew Stops. For those looking to share the experience, the ultra can be completed as a relay by teams of three, including at least one female member. The baton, which serves as both tracker and race number, can only be exchanged at designated changeover points at the Crew Stops.
In addition to the full ultra, participants can opt for the UltraNite (101km) starting at Dromid, Waterville, on Friday night/Saturday morning, or the UltraLite (58km) on Saturday, which follows the Kerry Way route from Sneem to Killarney. Whether you're a seasoned ultra runner or looking for a new challenge.
