The Tinman Joburg Tri Series consists of three key disciplines: swimming, cycling, and running. Participants start with a swim leg in the clear waters of one of the lakes, navigating through designated buoys to complete the required distance. From there, they transition to the cycling segment, which takes them on a challenging route through the undulating terrain of the Cradle Moon reserve. The cyclists face steep climbs, thrilling descents, and technical sections, providing an exhilarating and demanding experience. After completing the cycling portion, athletes transition to the final leg of the triathlon—the run. They tackle a scenic off-road trail that winds its way through the reserve, offering a mix of rugged paths, gravel tracks, and occasional obstacles. Once you register, you enter the transition directly from registration - secure area.
