SOX 3 Day Trail Run | 2026

The 2026 SOX 3 Day Trail Run takes place from Friday, 7 August to Sunday, 9 August 2026, with the race village based at Fairy Knowe Hotel in Wilderness, Western Cape. 🏃‍♂️🌿

Known as one of South Africa’s most diverse three-day trail running events, SOX takes runners through the beauty of the Garden Route with a different trail experience each day. Participants will move from mountain single track in the Outeniqua Mountains to indigenous forest trails in Knysna, before finishing with a coastal stage in Wilderness. ⛰️🌊

Runners can choose between the full three-day SOX Full challenge, the shorter SOX Sport option, or a SOX Single Day 16km entry. The SOX Full covers around 66km over three days, while SOX Sport offers a shorter 35km over three days experience. 👟

With well-marked routes, water tables, a race village atmosphere, finishers’ medals, lunch each day, medical support, photography, and a goodie bag with an event T-shirt and buff, SOX offers a complete multi-day trail running adventure in the Garden Route. 🎖️
