Take on a rewarding mountain challenge with the George & Cradock Peaks Double Summit Hike, an advanced guided hiking experience in the Garden Route near George, Western Cape. This demanding 15km out-and-back route includes approximately 1550m of elevation gain, making it ideal for fit and experienced hikers seeking a full-day mountain adventure.
Starting early from the Arbour Road parking area at 05h00, the route follows the George Peak VK trail before traversing the saddle to summit Cradock Peak, then returning via the same route. The hike offers spectacular panoramic views over George, the coastline, and the Swartberg Mountains, rewarding participants with one of the most scenic vantage points in the region.
This is an 8-hour hiking experience that combines endurance, elevation, and exploration, along with the opportunity to connect with like-minded hikers, build friendships, and enjoy a strong sense of accomplishment.
