Get ready, Johannesburg! The BOTC JHB Virtual is happening on 21 November, hosted by Natural Running Co. at the iconic Pirates Club, Greenside. While more than 1 000 runners take on the main BOTC event in KZN, Joburg athletes will enjoy a high-energy mini version designed to build hype ahead of BOTC’s full arrival in 2026.
The 5K run starts at 17:30, offering an accessible distance for all runners. Your R100 entry (via Racepass) includes the same goodie bag as the main KZN event — with premium items from Maurten, Takealot, Gilnokie, and more. Runners can also select the community they’ll represent on race night.
After the run, stick around for the post-run party, complete with drink specials and a live DJ — the perfect way to celebrate Joburg’s growing BOTC culture.
