Mercedes Benz 15km Gallop | 2026

The Mercedes-Benz 15km & 5km Road Race 2026 takes place on Sunday, 16 August 2026, starting and finishing at the Old Selbornian Club on Pearce Street in Baysville, East London, Eastern Cape.

Hosted by Old Selbornian Road Runners, this annual road running event offers participants a choice of 15km and 5km race distances, making it suitable for club runners, social athletes, walkers, families, beginners, and local supporters.

The 15km race provides a solid mid-distance challenge for runners looking to test their fitness or enjoy a competitive road race, while the 5km fun run/walk offers an accessible option for walkers, younger participants, and those joining for fun.

The event follows ASA and BORA rules, with electronic timing, water points, medical support, secure parking, and toilets available at the start and finish. Medals will be awarded to the first 600 15km finishers, and the first 600 15km entries receive a long-sleeve shirt.
