Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival

Join us on 11 August 2024 for the Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival, featuring a full marathon, half marathon, and 10km, 5km, and 2km fun run events. Each race follows the breathtaking coastline of Alexandra Headland, offering views of white sandy beaches and the ocean. The Half Marathon is a scenic one-loop course, while Marathon participants enjoy a multi-loop course (1 x 21km + 2 x 10.5km) with vibrant on-course entertainment and enthusiastic crowds. All races culminate in a thrilling red carpet ‘hero’ finish. Located on the picturesque Sunshine Coast, just an hour north of Brisbane, this festival takes advantage of Queensland’s ideal winter running conditions.
