About The Purple Turtle Run | 2026

The Purple Turtle Run 2025 is a unique, timed trail running event along the Thames in Walton-on-Thames. Participants can choose their own distance from 5km to ultra by completing as many 5.3km laps as they like within a 7-hour time limit. Hosted by Phoenix Running, the event welcomes all abilities and offers flexible 'rock up and run' start times. A 'no medal' entry option is available at a lower price, while standard entries include a bespoke finishers' medal and full race support.
