About Ride the Lakes Sportive | 2026

Ride the Lakes is a fully supported, scenic sportive set in the Lake District on Sunday, 17 August 2025. Participants can choose between two routes: The Beast (108mi / 174km) over challenging terrain including Shap and Kirkstone Pass, or The Boxer (66mi / 106km) through the South Lakes. The event includes chip timing, feed stations, mechanical and medical support, route signage, GPX files, event photography, free secure parking, clubhouse facilities at the start/finish (3‑1‑5 Health Club, Lancaster), broom wagon support, finisher medals, and rider goody bags.
