About Race to the Stones | 2026
Watlington
Race to the Stones is the UK's largest 100km ultramarathon along the ancient Ridgeway, running from Lewknor to the 5,000‑year‑old Avebury Standing Stones on 12–13 July 2025. Runners can choose non-stop 100km, 100km over two days (with basecamp camping), or 50km one‑day options. With fully marked trails, pit‑stops, hot food, showers, bag transport, medical support, chip timing, finisher medals, and beginner‑friendly cut‑offs, this event offers a walker‑friendly ultra experience with prize funds and charity entry too.
